Problems with the 2D view in the drawing

Unread post by valer_y »

Hi
there is a problem with the 2D view.
I set up a 2D view in the drawing template, for example top and then I put the cabinet in the drawing, it is always displayed by me with any other side, but not top.
Somebody knows why. It may be necessary to determine in the cabinet the display side???

Are you using the multi-draft function to create drawings?
The multi-draft function always defaults to top view from the model file even if template view is set to not be top view so dependent on its orientation in the model file to the absolute cs system. Have you tried adding a view style to your templates vies?

or are you manually inserting use the hammer into empty view?

or are using the main view function?

Hi. This is a multi-page drawing template.
The problem is that when you display several products on a drawing
I manually adjust the view to add dimensions and the next
Opening the drawing view returns to the previous state and all dimensions are lost.

top solid will always orientate parts in a multidraft according to its axis. since you place more than 1 part i assume it just pics an axis since your assembly does not have one. try selecting add to sawing up in the characteristics of your assembly and then adding x an y directions in a manner that your top view would realy be a top view. then make a new multidraft.

i hope it helps

Hello
I found a solution.
in the assembly you need to select Add draft frame and determine the axis manually.
but the problem still remains with the isometric view he takes the axis of the project.
They say in version 6.20 the problem is solved?
