Surface

Hi Does anybody know of any help with the surface commands?? There are some videos on YouTube BUT seem to be all in Polish / foreign languages, and the help files dont tell much. While the actual processes dont seem complicated, when things dont happen, the error messages thrown up are meaningless!

Hi Mark. Im just trying to learn how to use the various surface commands. Starting trying to create a simple swept volume, have tried drawing two shapes on two different Coord systems, and joining them with a line/curve. Have just found a video on you tube. I think I have to draw the curve first. Draw the shapes on a coord system on the end of the curve. Likewise shapes at points on the curve, and go through the process of selecting the shapes and the curve, and also altering the points where the system generated red line (with red ball ends) links to the shapes, to eliminate any invalid geometry errors etc. Will try this when back at work, but would be interested to see any other input you may have. Regards
