JIFFY PLUG- C'BORE OR DRILL HOLES

Unread post by RICHARD LALONDE »

I post this comment here buth it will be also on the improvement section.
When we install a jiffy plug by default we control the c'bore only it will be great if we will have the option to controle the angle at the bottom, that way we will be able to create as a drilling holes instead a c'bore. Some shop prefer to use a drilling holes because it's faster but need more precision with the tapping. Does some other people use a drilling holes to install a jiffy plug intead c'bore ?

We drill all our counterbores for our water connectors. I use a custom component i created years ago that puts in the drilled counterbore and the jiffy connector.

However I do agree with you that it would be a usefull upgrade to TopSolid'Mold.

Agreed, it should be added. And for the C'bore Dia I'd like that to be an actual Dia. Dimension not a clearance distance around the plug. That makes it easier to set.
