[Solved] Problem conversion draft to dxf-file

Unread post by Truus »

I am working with TopSolid Design 2009 (v6.10.212)
When I open a dxf-file in autocad, created with "save as" Autocad V6.7 dxf in TopSolid;
I got the following problem :
The contour-line of the part has a line who is thicker than the other lines.
How can I solve that problem?

I often get strange results from the TopSolid .dxf / .dwg translators.

I usually try different translator versions until the appearance is better...

P.S. Welcome to the forum :)

Hi,

In autocad you can explode the contour, then it should have the same thickness than the other lines.

The best solution we found here was to firstly save the dft file as igs and open again this igs file and save as dxf/dwg...

The draw looks great this way, but the dimensions obviously were only texts.
