Convert text on Curve

Draw a non straight curve.
Go to text menu, select 'text on curve'
Put the text on the bended curve.
Go to curve -> manage -> convert texts.
Click on the text.

The text now bends back to horizontale and ignores the curve completely.
If you select substitution first, it works but you get horrible text.

Please fix it.

Possible work around. Use the pocket command on a block using the text as the wire. Then use the create wire by face edge command to get your wire. Not how it should be done but it may work for you now.
