Hello ... a question of how to compare two assemblies top7cad?
to see the differences ...
how to transform an assembly into a unique piece?

HI there,

I can think of two possible ways to do this.

1) Create a new assembly file, and then drag each of the existing assemblies into it and constrain them accordingly.

I am not sure if the compare and replace function will work on a full assembly. so you might need to do it manually with collision detection.

2) The other method would be to export each assembly as a parasolid file and then reimport them. However, when you reimport them, you need to uncheck the "rebuild assembly"options. After you import one of them, I believe you can merge the other by an option found in the 7 icon in the top left corner of the screen. Something like merge or include. I am sorry, I am going from memory here and am not in front of a computer with TopSolid 7 on it.
