Something is crashing TopSolid

Unread post by Top'Noob »

Anybody else having TS crash problems ?

TS has been extremely stable on this computer for as long as I have used it. I have had 6.9.236 patch installed for quite a while and there were no problems with it at first...

Now for no apparent reason I am getting several crashes per day over the last week or two and usually when it happens I am doing nothing more complicated than analyzing a shape (F2) or measuring a distance between points... :?

I suspect a recent Windows patch or possibly the Mcaffee anti-virus to be causing this problem...

At times like this I really appreciate the .rsc file !

Am I the only one with these crashes ?

EDIT: One more clue... Often when this happens I cannot open any TS file or even a "new" design document even after re-starting TS. I have to re-start the computer to get it working again...

Hi,

Maybe you can try this one:

Start a new TopSolid
Cancel the Opening windows
In the 3 menus, select Windows  Reset Configurations
Close TS
Start it again

Is it better?
