installing post processor from TopSolid 6 onto TopSolid 7

hi is it possible to use post processors i have in TopSolid 6 if i was to have TopSolid 7? and how would i install them?

Yes, There will be a new install for TopSolid 7. Please contact your re-seller, or support agent.

So you want to use tour V6 pp on v7?
i would advice you not to do that.

Hi Mark,
You are correct. The reason behind this is we have made major enhancements to the base post. Therefore having a stronger starting point.

I write my own posts in v6 and V7. All the enhancements we did we transferred to the V7 pp.
for now it might seem a good idea to use the old ones but I am sure in a short amount of time you will regret it because you cannot use some new functions in V7 because the pp is not going to support it

Well we use our own dialog boxes. We did completely implement the support on machine verification with a measurement probe which both done in Vb and the ini all of this beside the usual stuff like tool calls, how we deal with origins etc.
it didn't take me much effort to rewrite this in the new ini and C#. Mostly because the newly developed bases are far more better than the V6 bases
