[Solved] AMD processors

i am curious to know if anyone is using an AMD processor with TopSolid?

I have been for several years. I think it's a 4400+ model but not sure...

I have not had any issues that I could blame on the processor.

Never use AMD for TopSolid.

In CAM it takes much longer everything to count.

so better buy Intel Wink

or you have already bought the AMD??

no, i have not purchased AMD, just thinking about it, notebooks with AMD processors are priced very well. so we have one vote for AMD and one against.

Hi Jeff,

Regarding notebooks, i have one with an intel processor Core 2 Duo T7500 witch is much better than a PC that i had with an AMD dual core processor.
Another very important component is the graphic card. please do NOT use any other card than nvidia.

so we have two for Intel and one for AMD

We have two computers with AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 4400+ running TopSolid and they working fine.
But TopSolid recommends to use intels Core2Duo.
Use allways Nvidia graphic card preferable Nvidia Quadro.
