TopSolid Update: Unable to connect to update server
Posted: Tue Sep 26, 2017 7:28 am
Hello,
Last week I could run TS Update without any problems at all. On Friday I uninstall TS on this machine and then reinstalled it. Since then TopsolidUpdate has not been able to check for any updates. I receive the error as shown by "1" below.
What I' have tried:
-I checked that I have an internet connection, I do
-I attempted to navigate to http://ftp.TopSolid.com my browser but was requested for a username and password as shown by "2".
-I shut down my anti-virus (Kasperky) even though I have previously never needed to do this, the result was the same: TS Update gave the same error.
-On another computer on the same network as this one, I can successfully run TS'Update without any problems... which makes me know it can't be a network restriction problem
Does anyone perhaps know what is going wrong?
The only other solution I can think of is that somehow my TopSolid installation "lost" the Account/Password for the proxy server. If this is the case, does anyone know what it is so I can complete the below?
Thanks in advance,
Michelle
