dome components flattened

Unread post by Robert »

Please see the attached dome. I have it divided into 9 sections and I would like to know is it possible to flatten the 9 components to give me the shape on a 2D surface like wood veneer?

Robert is this the same one you sent me directly? I think that depending on the amount of deformation you may need to use TopSolid Progress, if there is minimal deformation TopSolid Sheet Metal can create bend lines.
