Hi Robert,

Looks great!
TS'2009 will allow you to download Google Sketchup (SKP) 3D files.
Maybe have look there before creating your own components?

Regards

Pieter

Pieter,

When will TS'2099 be released in North America?

That will be a great feature for TS to be able to import SKP files into TS; thats exciting! having access to 19 million 3D files.

Will that be backward compatible, can TS files be imported into Sketch-Up?

Robert

Hi Robert,

Amazing renders!!!
What kind of light do you use to create the sun light (Ambient, Point, Directional or Spot)?
With what parameters?

Hi olaio,

I modeled everything in TS and exported it to Maxwell Render and used the default "Physical Sky" illumination settings. I'm currently creating a Chandelier and wall sconce lighting in TS, once I place those items in the room the lighting and mood of the room should look a little more realistic.

The attached is an experiment with applying textures and seeing what they would look like on diffrent items, everything was created in TS Wood; the walls, tiled floor, french door, accesssories and the French console table. It was rendereded in MXR.
