Managing large assemblies?

Unread post by Robert »

I was wondering if any of you who use TS Wood have any general rules or "Best Practices" for managing large assemblies and sub-assemblies. I'm new to this and I have backed myself into a corner a couple of times on larger assemblies. I could see it becoming a issue as my assemblies get larger and larger and I know there must be some general rules on how to structure and manage large assemblies.

Thanks,
Pieter

Hi,

Yes there are some "rules" you could respect to manage large assemblies.
There is a document describing it somewhere. You should ask your reseller.

In general the most important gain is to be found in using simplified versions of parts and sub-assemblies. It's to much of an explanation to do here, but this is one of the key-features to use when managing large assemblies.

Regards

Pieter
