parameter link between .dft and .top files

Hello

Is it possible to modify, from inside a .dft file, a parameter which belongs to a .top file, in order to observe the result of the modification "live", directly in the .dft file?
I already tried to define a parameter in the .dft file, import it in the .top file, link it with the parameter I need to modify but it doesn't work. When I modify it from the .dft file, it doesn't modify inside the .top file.
I also tried "excel link" but with the same poor result: I have to go back and forth from the .dft to the .top file to import the modified parameter from the excel table and then to see the results.

In particular, what I want to observe is the behaviour of a cam and counterplate assembly and how positioning betwen them affects the size of the pockets from the counterplate.

Thank you

Hi

Have a look at projected dimension in draft, it will project in a view a green dimension and this will modify the top from the draft.
Ideally what you want to do is a kinematic and check your stuff but it requires more knowledge.

There is no real need to do this actually you can activate live update in dft, tile verticaly the top and the dft and modify directly the top.
i guess there is others way.

No need to import parameters, see this video:https://youtu.be/AeBui7am5Es
