Making my own connector (fixchip)

Unread post by Niels »

Hi!
Is it possible in TopSolid'wood to make your own connector? There are plenty of stock options like dowels but im missing options like the fixchip that we use with at my company. To clarify, we chose for this because its easier to manufacture on a nesting CNC.

Yeah it is just model it and create tooling and key points then use the save standard function and save it to your own library

Hi Todd, i am an absolute beginner at topsolidwood, although ive gone through the beginner and advanced guide, most of the functions are still abracadabra to me. I have modeled it as good as i could with 2 martyr parts to copy the dowel template and saved to my own library so far. What are the key points you talk about?
