manage layers in draft?

Is there a way for the layers in assembly to be used in draft? When you open up an assembly in draft non of the layers appear?

Yes, you can setup a layer filter on a view. Use the modify tool on a view and create a new filter by layer on the exceptions tab:

in the document's properties you need to activate those two options:

Note that the projections will take a little more to be computed, because TopSolid will create 2d contours!
