Indexing

Unread post by RaudMees »

Hello

When I use automatic Indexing on dft, then identical parts will have only one index and rest of them are not indexed. Is there any option to put indexes to all parts, incl. identical parts?

You are referring to duplicate labeling every instance of an index correct? I have not seen any such setting or a way to do that Automatically other I think the only way would be to manually label them. Maybe asking support if there one those magic setting you can type a string in a config file but there no actually setting in options I have seen to do it.

It would make the quantity 1 on each line of your BOM but you could try adding the element identifier in the BOM so each part is unique. It doesn't have to be displayed just part of the BOM.
