driver block error

Unread post by OMG »

Hello

I make a simple furniture template body (2 lateral walls, 2 superior/inferior pieces and one back) inside a driver block. When I include (with housing or inside a block method) a sub assembly (a shelf) i get the following error:

: sablon carcasa cu polite si usi v1.top,db housing driver (layer=0)
The absolute coordinate system or non associative frame should not be used when a driver block has been created ( : sablon carcasa cu polite si usi v1.top,@2196 constrained housing (layer=0)).
The absolute coordinate system or non associative frame should not be used when a driver block has been created (@2196, @2248, @2249, $SET).

The absolute coordinate system is the current one.

What could be the problem?

Thank you

Hello

it's an old thing from "stone age" when driver block weren't born yet. To avoid this error, make Your own template. New file, create new CS (You can name it as "my CS" or smth) and put Abs CS to last layer or smth to hide it forever. And work with Your new CS.
Sadly, sometimes that error may come up again when You delete some components and put new components back.

One more thing. If I take components from Internet or local libraries, then I transform them to my own CS to avoid that error later. Or when I use key-points, then I create my own CS for them.
