How do we accurately model curved raise panels in TS?
GOAL: Parametric half round cased opening with curved raised panels on the inside of the curved face, and where of course all the geometry is correct and the raised panel corners are beautiful. We will chain-sweep the entire panel on our CNC.
PROBLEM: The raised panel corner profiles do not match in my current method. The normal method of using a standard knife profile in the system to apply to the four raised panel edges cannot work. The issue is the profile at the end of the panels is compressed, curved.
What is the simple way to accurately model curved raised panels? Surely others have done parametric curved raised panels in TS'Wood.
The images here illustrate the problem if we use a standard knife in our system to model both the sides and the ends.
This is the correct raised panel profile when the panel is not curved.

Here is the panel when NOT curved, curved models should look very similar with nice matching corner intersections.
And here is the side profile of the BAD curved panel. As you can see, the geometry does not work to use the the same knife from the system, it "digs in" to the panel. The profile on the ends must bend slightly to match the curve of the panel.

Re: CURVED raised panel profile mismatch
I would say you will have to do it the long way with Profile sketch and Guide curve. I assume your using the moulding function?
