bending a pattern?
What TS strategy would you use to create a cut-out patterned bent metal component like the attached metal table base?

I would do the opposite I would make that part and repeat it around the top and bottom rings for the pattern and do a straight line trim at the bottom and top. the red dots are key point ideas

you will have to convert it to sheet metal if you want to flatten it out
