[Solved] cutter compensation

Unread post by steveatliftcars »

We are new to the TopSolid world so excuse our simple questions. When the cutter are reduced in diameter by sharpening, how do you adjust the compensation so it cuts at the point required?
Thanks
Steve

Hi Steve:

If you want to make the sort of small adjustments you would usually need to make as a tool wears during a job, simply use cutter comp...

If you want to redefine a tool as having a different diameter after regrinding, then perhaps define a new tool in the TopTool database.
