[Solved] Operation Manager and posting with 64 bit
I need to only post 1 or 2 operations at a time, How to I post out just what I need?
Also how can I move an operation say... operation 23 up to operation 1
Since I'm using 64 bit version of TopSolid cam, the function must start from a external application, for those of you using the 64 bit version, you'll know what I mean.
thank you

Hi Steven,
Reordering of operations is quite easy...highlight the operation(s) you want to copy/move, hit CTRL-X (standard Windows command for "cut"), or CTRL-C ("copy"), then highlight the operation in the ops manager that you want to paste *after*, and hit CTRL-V ("paste"). If you want to move something to the first spot, you'll have to get it into the second spot, and then move the first op into the second spot.
If you want to just post several ops (not the whole operations list), you need to deactivate the ops you don't want to post (highlight the ops you want to act upon, right-click and select activate/deactivate from the flyout menu), save the file, and run the post externally. I *believe* this is a limitation with the 64 bit version only....the 32 bit version will let you post individual operations directly from the operations manager.
How's it going, anyway? Are you liking TS?
Cheers............Brian

hi
Hi,
This is a limitation with the 64 bit version only..
If you use V6.10 or V6.11, now when we execute TopPpexec.exe outside TopSolid’Cam, it’s possible to have the list of operations, and select only the operations that you want to generate.
Define this section in your Ini.file :
[ISO]
#Ok_For_Operation_List_At_Start = YES
Best Regards
Flávio Ruivo

hello, I want to communicate to add the line Flávio Ruivo posting ini file in the post-processor and a sustainable improvement occurs when post-processing operations, attached images as evidence.
The version I use is 2007 v6.8 280 CAM and v6.8 272 DESIGN.
With this improvement I can opt to use TopSolid in 64 bit and get better performance.
Anyway, it would be great if the ISO File generation is done from within TopSolid.
As a request for software programmers, we need a patch that fixes this issue clearly that the best solution would be to upgrade to new versions of the program, but sometimes by economy can not.
Thanks Flávio.

hello, if not a program error, maybe could make an improvement to resolve the detail that is uncomfortable to generate iso programs, for example:
Let us in the case that everything is mechanized should come only from the programming and there should be no intervention of the operator of the machine, it should schedule a series of programs with different iso stock, this means, in the 64-bit version generate the first iso, save, open the file externally to generate the iso, aTopsolid re-enter, modify, over, save, open the file again from outside TopSolid generate the iso, and so on, is a Case bit cumbersome, so it is that "ask" for a solution, maybe a post processor installer if you work within TopSolid. ¿Post-processor software who generates, Missler or another company? I ask because in TopSolid dvd not the installer of the post processor.
Greetings.

64 bit
Hello Brian,
I'm still using TS, I wish I had more time using the powerful 5 axis.
I'm still using TS on all my 5 axis engraving, But we had to look at
another cam software for our 2 new haas 510 Routers with the Tri-Tech 5 axis heads.
As for me, and the Big 510 Router project, we are very close to my projected
production rate... just a little more tweeking of tool paths, speeds and feeds
and set-up procedures. By Monday we'll be at 100%
Anyway, that's enough about me.
Once again, thank you for your help!
Stephen

hi
Hi
The Pp use a virtual disk" S", always you need to run this batch file:
PpTop_Subst.bat
Location: C:\dev_nt\Top.1.02.XX\Vb
Or put inside Startup menu
Best Regards
