[Solved] Indexing ERROR

Unread post by Larry M. »

Well, here I am. Get a call this morning that they need prints by noon today. 1 day ahead of schedule. I said I would have it done. I finish the 3D mold design and go to paper space. And all I get is "Indexing Error". No invalid entities in the design or nothing. So I have a software that can create the 3D model but not a print for it. I have 30min before they are to have prints, and I have to call and say "I can't make them".

Well, The problem is the PCS_Inch Library. DO NOT USE the STOP PINS! I had to go through the entire design and pick it peace by peace to see what was causing the print error.

Something is wrong with the PCS_Inch Stop pins.

Hi all,

The solution is:

* Open your 3D
* Go in File - reroute
* In the list, you may see your std components, and on a line, you would have something like that:

...:v68//lib_files/PCS_Inch/ejection/repos#v=2040001#i=00#r=nr#lnk.top

instead of a $STD=.... line

* Select this line, then explore your HD to find this target in your PCS_Inch folder that is in the v68//lib_files/PCS_Inch/ejection (select the SAME lnk file)
* OK
* Save your mold file.
* Create your 2D.

Normally, your draft creation will be OK.
