I finally figured out how to knit together the case, backpanel, face frame, and doors and make them all parametrically linked. It took me a while and some help but I finally get the process. I'm also finding it pretty easy to knock out architectual elements like coffered ceilings and panel walls.

....another "Boolean operation failed" please see the attached TS files and images. Does anyone have any suggestions about making curved componets that will not fail when you apply molding operations to them?

I'm trying to run a molding operation.

I'm making a simple curved rail for a door, and I keep getting "Boolean operation failed" what would be causing that failure on a simple curve like the one on the attached image.

If this is correct File/Properties/General/File Format/ select "Text file" I'm still having difficulties importing the stl file in Maxwell Render. Though the new rendering package that TS has intergrated into the new beta version looks a lot better then what they currently have, I may not ...

sudeep thanks for the reply, How do you save the assembly in Binary .stl format. Where is that option given to save in text mode vs. binary...I'm new to TS.

I would like to know from those of you who design furniture and cabinetry which method of design do you prefer "Bottom-Up or In-Place" and why do you perfer one over the other?

Well...I've decided to wait to buy the MAC Pro, instead I have installed TS Wood on my iMac which works alright but TS will freeze on me maybe once an hour. Is there any settings on the ATI card that can be tweaked that may help with the freezing up or occasional crash?
