Hi Jeff, This can happen from time to time... It has even happened to me! :-) The reason it happens is typically because you are moving quickly, and accidentally drag the icon bar to a new position. That said, here is how you fix it. (it has nothing to do with a patch) Go to the Window pull down men...

Hi,

While I understand your problem, (with the revolved surfaces), why are you doing a revolved shape on this model for these features? Why not use a simple drilling or a pocket? These are more direct ways of creating the features you are showing in your sample...(without all the hard work).

Hi there, Are you using the automatic projection function within the runner function? This will allow you to create a runner on 3d faces. However, it seems that it works best on single segments, (as you say in your post). That said, if you place your single segment curve above all of the faces of th...

Hi there! Happy New Year! Creating vents in TopSolid can sometimes be tricky. Especially when you want a constant depth. The way that I have found that works best is this. 1. Set Cavity/Core Plane Current 2. Create simple center line curves (represent the cetner line of vents) 3. Use the Curve | Thi...

Hello, these drilling standards already exist in the Shape | Drilling function, as well as in the Assembly | Include standard function. Perhaps you do not have a good Top.tap file. This file is what controls the tapping information for the Shape | Drilling function. If you have an old one, perhaps c...

Hey Guys, After doing some research, it seems that DME does not offer all of the screws that you guys are looking for. All I can find our fractional ones and then 6-32,8-32, 10-24. The problem that we have, is that if DME does not offer them, then we will not have a catalog number to associate with ...

Hello Remi, You can not modify the transparency of this component as it is set to follow the properties of the library file itself. To Resolve this you have two solutions. The first would be to edit the library component itself. The other would be to use the Modify element function. To do this follo...

The only point that I will add is that when you use the Set Assignment function to either include, or extract items from Mold visualization, you are actually modifiying the contents of the mold ...
