I would say you probably are doing good. There is always manual editing to the BOM, as far as my experience has gone. There are multiple ways to do this. One very important warning though. TS does NOT update stock sizes automatically. So if you change a block, you HAVE TO go and update it's stock si...

OK, someone can correct me if I'm wrong. But. FIRST: You can NOT use functions in a text line. It just displays the text only. What you have to do is create Parameters (Parameter/Edit List) and parameters with the formulas you want. Then to display the parameter you would do the text command then se...

The command is always ROUND2. Example: X=21.045869 Round2(X,.001) would round the X dimension off to 3plcs. 21.046 would be the output. Round2(X,1) would give you 21.0 as the answer. Rounding to the nearest whole number. Round2(X,.05) would round it to the nearest .05 mark. 21.050 would be the answe...

UCS Selection for Step & Parasolid Output

I'd like to see the ability to pick which UCS is 0/0 when outputting Step and Parasolid data. Just like iges is already. I design molds, and if the mold UCS is not on the absolute "0" ucs, it outputs off of center of mold. All this does is cause problems. Everything is off location. Curren...

If you already had a parameter defined in a new TS document. You should be able to just add a column to the end of the excel document and enter values. That should work. But the TS file won't see the updated excel sheet until it is reloaded. So don't edit the excel sheet while the related TS file is...

I believe all you need to do is add another column with that parameter name at the end of the existing one.

Jeff, Usually when something turns orange I go to the history tree on the left side, right mouse button in that window area, select edit and then pick the entity that has gone bad. You also can right mouse, go under Edit Sets, then Invalid entity sets. This will show you everything that has become i...

If I have this problem, I'll usually just trim by plane. Plane can be a ucs or a flat surface. Like the cover dieset.

Usually the location dimensions & UCS's used to insert mold components (like a bolt) will unblank themselves when you use mold visualization. The only way The best way I've found is to move all the "A" side dimensions to a layer and all the "B" side ones to another layer, the...
