you can make a new view and have all the sections transfer to that if you want, that way the rest of your sections wont break. i agree the function is cool, we use it to make our ceiling plans. But apart from what i said earlier i don't see a way to undo it.

you could also use a named text and make the text driver. then when you insert you component you can just type whatever you want to fill your properties with

yeah it kept the 3d plane with me as well. but i am wondering why you want this, should you have any indexes or dimensions in your planning view they are sure to break if you would succeed in turning it back to normal. is deleting and replacing it with a new view an option?

Use the modify element function and click on your view, the view modification window will open. Under "camera" you can select the view you want. I'm guessing yours will be on top view, unfold the pull-down menu where you can select the view and click top again. Then click OK. I just tested...

i think you can change it in the topzdft.cfg as the colour fond and text height are also determined there. however, what code you should use to get a balloon is beyond me
