Start the function in TopSolid wood and then hit the F1 key to bring up the explanation in the help file

well its all in C:\Missler\ what ever version you want to be the default \bin you should find the application executable in the bin forlder

the TopSolid application will have to be browsed too because it doe not install in windows program folders below is the default location if you did not change it
C:\Missler\V617\bin

You can do multiple things.
1.) change the grain symbol line type in your multi-draft template

select edit from the menu, then select name function and type the name of the set you wish to edit

check your bom template your use to export is use the correct field: INDEX 3D. because the index in the draft is different

I would do the opposite I would make that part and repeat it around the top and bottom rings for the pattern and do a straight line trim at the bottom and top. the red dots are key point ideas

select file from the menu, then browse down to the regenerate button. and that will manual recalculate the model file .top and all of its ref files
