Yes you just have to insert it into a sketch after import

right-click the alternate set assembly in the tree
then select insert
then type the name of the sub-set

You cant delete layers they are always there. Once you move everything on that layer to a different layer than it will be empty and not show up in the layers tab in the manager unless you manually inserted the layer into the manager

3.) the way your currently doing it witch is much longer than the above two

few possible scenarios.

• the hatch is forced from the draft.
• the hatch is not correct or was changed in material lib (to fix just remove and re-apply).
• try use define part instead of multiple there was a bug in multiple in the past versions

The tolerance is file specific unless your add these settings to your group config file

do you have a desktop PC or Laptop? if you have a Laptop most have 2 graphics Cards and you have to force certain applications to always use the better card instead of the integrated one

I think you will want to try using generic code to do this. that way it will pull from the part definition for that data instead of the edge or panel function

Check that use realistic rendering is on under projection parameters in document properties
