Re: Drive Blocks?
I am almost new user and I grew up with DB But I really like double wrap DB. I have lot of thing in DB - handles, hinges, drawers, doors, floor unit legs etc. Handle component is "inside block" and I can add handles with one click per drawer. DB is very powerful tool

Re: Drive Blocks?
Hi there.
Looks like it works fine. Maybe You don't have paralleel planes for projection or something is missing in project (sometimes CS is in wrong direction). You can test it Yourself. Create new file, make driver block and put component into it as Inside block and play with this.

Re: TopSolid nesting for band saw machines
I think it's better to ask from Missler re-seller. I looked nesting manuals and nothing about this.

Re: TopSolid nesting for band saw machines
Hi PG Now I understand Your problem. I think, nesting can't optimize it for Your band saw. In this case workable solution is to make project, create a BOM, export to Excel and import that file into Cutrite and create cutting plan there. Bad thing is - they are not linked. I don't know how Cutrite wo...

Re: Shaped cabinets
Hi Jason I made that unit into driver block. I don't any sample available, but: 1) make regular driver block and add parameters for left and right side depth. 2) for example, corner unit is 900x900 and side depth is 570. Then one open corner will be "empty" 3) create parts as needed and wh...

Re: TopSolid nesting for band saw machines
Hi PG, I might be wrong, but I will try. I think at first You need license for TopSolid Nesting and anykind of nesting machine template to make nestings. You don't need any postprocessor or CAM module. I have no idea how do You plan to cut with band saw - do You print contours out or parts are recta...

Re: BOM Examples?
There is no standard template. I have experience from several companies and.. 1) Ultralarge BOM for partition walls. Profile type, name, code, supplier, measures, paint, quantity, pos number, assembly information etc... total 14 columns. That will be exported to Excel which is full of macros and for...

Re: Index with information
I am using for indexing special BOM with minimum information. When Your BOM is very big, then Indexing read too much information into Indexing and I think You are not happy with result. Indexing BOM have only 4 fields (columns), regular BOM have more than 10 (I have several BOMs for manufacturing, p...

Re: ID parts
Hello
I don't know, what do You have there, but I have this:
NAME=CAM_name
"DEF=<WOO_CAM_FILE_NAME|$DESIGNATION$-$INDEX_3D$>"
With this You have filename Left side-01.***

Hi there
You have a file (somekindfilename.bom) which generates file name for CNC. Just add Index 3D into that file and then You have it

Re: How to add the index key into designation
I made short video about this. The most important thing is to make correct Index.bom with identification row, otherwise You may have different geometries with same index. To avoid indexing for fittings (like dowel in my video) You will have to use filters. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GQxPHRmoJBs...
