Are you talking about picking boundaries for Roughing and such? If you go to your Geometry tab you can pick your X, Y and Z min/max if you want a square boundary. If you need a different shape you can enable Bounding curves management( at the bottom of the Geometry tab) then draw a sketch or use exi...

You can look in your entities tree under Parameters and functions and see everything that makes up the tool. Under each Function you can single click and it will highlight what you're selecting in the graphics screen.
I used that a lot when I was making my tool library and tool assemblies.

The bottom icon to the right of your screen(while you have an operation open) controls this.

Hi Michelle, The only machining templates available by default is a "Blank Template". You'll have to create your own templates and put them in your "My Templates" document located in the top left TopSolid icon/ File/Document templates/ Open My Templates. Once you've created them ...
