Re: export BOM and/or Cutlist to excel using script
You should not need a script to export a bom just select the export bom button on the wood functions but it is a bit faster to make a script with the export bom function.

Re: "part positioning on machine" preview window
Yeah I agree with Raud I am very interested to see how putting wood in 7 goes and am currently teaching myself 7 for when it does. But also I Have put in a lot of evolutions/improvement requests with missler for ver6 through support and seen at least 60% of them implemented. so they do listen to the...

maybe Serial copy with driving points like the above video is a better design approach then if they are all different.

Re: top.cfg group vs. config, who's the boss?
Whatever is in the group top.cfg will overwrite the local config top.cfg. on a side not not every .cfg file is compatible with the group function as far as I know there is no list of witch files work with the group function and witch do not I have just used trial and error by copy paste them into th...

Re: driver coating and finishing
I assume you don't want to use the catalog function to do this? or if you don't know about this I would suggest using the catalog to do this.
example below: Name the part to change then "."(property to alter)
Tube.refrencence
Tube.coating
Tube.matter

Re: Double wrapped driver blocks
I like to use this for door and drawer fronts helps to already have the gaps and hinges placed and brining in vertical and horizontal dividers with the assembly screws already in them because we use blind dado constructions this way I don't need to have a driving parameter for the side thickness :id...

So from what I understand from your not looking to animate it being taken apart and assembled but just want to travel around your design and present it so I would suggest looking at Assembly | Travelling is much easier I think I have not used it in a while I think you can even draw geometry for the ...
