Hi solidsnake,

First you must import with convertion your dwg file onto a part document.
After that, ensure that the entities you need are in the detailed representation.
Then you can drag and drop your part document in your assembly document.

Hi,
i am not sure to understand your problem
You are able to open several dwg in several parts documents.
Drag and drop the entities you need into the desired representation.
Then include each part into your assembly document.

This should work.

Um abraço,

Hi DSantos,

You can also use:

-etopconfig= (to define diferent configs)
-etophome= (to define diferent install locations)

maybe there are more, i do not know.
But i think that you can use the first to use like you post.

Ok, Just try this: Close TopSolid. Open the excel file. In the excel file  File  Save As  In Type file choose Text(separated by tabulations). Then in windows explorer rename the txt file to cat file. Rename the excel file to another name. Run TopSolid. Check if everything is OK....

Hi,

In your excel file rename your column "DW Part Number" to "$Reference".
This should be enough.

Hi

I think that the best way is to work with simplified representations.

Hi Top'Noob,

Not only drag the handles, did you check that you can easily trim by path on the same step?

This is one of my best options on TopSolid :D :D :D

Hi,

You need to install the toplip aplication, when you are installing TopSolid.
The is an option (toplip) when you choose the modules to install.
