Re: Drive Blocks?
Thanks, guys for taking a look at the files. That the molding was pretty funky with missing driver elements and odd CS. So I tried a few other moldings some worked and some didn't so I know the issue is with the extruded molding, I created a new molding and it worked fine. RaudMees, you mentioned p...

Re: Drive Blocks?
The profile needs fr1 and fr2 and has to be placed in a folder profile. Placing a profile like this you need to put it on a curve, that curve needs a CS at the front of the driver block. Actually no. I had more than 100 different extruded profiles and You need only fr1. To place them, here are 2 wa...

Re: Drive Blocks?
Hi Robert I played with Your files and Your front component is weird. I don't know how You made it, but... When You play with one file a lot, it can be broke and it's better to create new from scratch. I've done it more than 20 times. I created new DB, took Your drawer front and put into that... hou...

Re: Nest ting multi file
It might be a bug, but it also can be unfinished thing. In the beginning we got several bad surprises when we had 2 right sides and no left side. It was TS 6.17, maybe it was better in 6.19. I will check it on the weekend and let You know what I can get.

Re: Nest ting multi file
Todd, I am not agree with You. For indexing is very good tool in BOM: "DEF=<DESIGNATION|IDENTIFICATION=_,A>" - that command will read part geometry and indexing works as needed. But, for some parts barcode is same.

Re: Nest ting multi file
Of course there are several possibilities how to get files to CAM, but with anykind of export workflow is slower. More clicks, different programs etc.

Re: Nest ting multi file
Nestin needs CAM too to put parts to machine. Without CAM Nesting is useless.

Re: Nest ting multi file
Hello File is attached. It's very large PDF, zoom it in to read text. There are 3 projects together. BUT, here is very big BUT. That file is created manually, how we like to get nested parts from machine. I don't have original output, but original is like this: Big parts is going by product from she...

Re: Nest ting multi file
Hello
Please explain little bit more specified, what do You want to do. Name cutting files? Get a name to the label? Print labels to parts? Something more?
Planned workflow is good to know. When it's secret, write privately. I did almost all those things last year.

Re: Drive Blocks?
At the moment I don't have active TS
I have demo 6.18 and I am just reading forum and help as much as I can. But, that video is 5y old and I think You have to chose that double wrap when You are creating new DB.

Here is door sample: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bNSJJpCEXws
With this it doesn't matter how thick sides are, door gap is always same. Red arrow is inside cabinet and yellow arrow outside.

Re: Drive Blocks?
I am almost new user and I grew up with DB
But I really like double wrap DB. I have lot of thing in DB - handles, hinges, drawers, doors, floor unit legs etc. Handle component is "inside block" and I can add handles with one click per drawer. DB is very powerful tool

Re: Drive Blocks?
Hi there.
Looks like it works fine. Maybe You don't have paralleel planes for projection or something is missing in project (sometimes CS is in wrong direction). You can test it Yourself. Create new file, make driver block and put component into it as Inside block and play with this.
