cross-hatching scale
Hello I normally use TSW to design furniture and my objects are around 1000-2000mm or smaller. I scale my views to fit to an A3 paper and when I cross section an object the resulting hatching pattern looks fine. But when I have to deal with really big objects (let's say a building - we use tsw also ...

Re: insert into inplace subset
Good advice. Thank you for your time, Laurens! Hello, Couple things about this topic. You could work with alternative sets and manually add those parts you want there, you could also have them filtered out by part type or using multi criteria filters (filters are made in tools>options) this allows y...

Hello Make a video how do You make STEP files today and make an export file of project too. I like to help. I have some ideas, but need to see first how its working today. RM Hi Raud This is the video where I try to re-group various parts from various subassemblies https://youtu.be/eX2Fj8IHifg and ...

Re: insert into inplace subset
It's not allowed to take parts from a component into different Subsets. Can you share a screen shot of the parts that give the "generated element"? Hi It seems like some parts of a subassembly can be added to a different subset and some of them not. I want to spot the difference between t...

Re: insert into inplace subset
You could use Layers or part types to also do that grouping and visibility. Hi Todd Unfortunately, TSW does not allow to "split" the components of a subassembly on different layers. Maybe a function similar to "new alternative set" but applied to layers it will be very useful. P...

insert into inplace subset
Hello I try to insert various parts from various subassemblies into an inplace subset. Some of them are inserted, some not. For the ones which are not inserted I receive a message "Insertion of generated elements in inplace subsets is not allowed." What is a "generated element"? ...

strange interface
Hello
From time to time my program starts with a strange interface, like the one attached (the one with a blue screen is my normal interface).
The icons and their positions are random.
Usually, a restart of the program solves the problem.
Did it happen to you?
What could be the cause?

"slave" like saving
Hello I've encountered a problem and I want to share it with you in order to find out if it can be somehow solved or it is without any answer: I want to save only a single part from a larger assembly, with all of the machinings inherited from the other accessories from within the assembly (let's say...

parameter replacement
Hello again What is the difference between "local", "global" or "total" when replacing a parameter? I've inserted a subassembly into an assembly and I want to replace the subassembly parameters with the equivalent ones from the assembly. Until now I've used "local&...
