Steampunk assault walker
So I thought I'd share what I've been doing while stuck indoors. It's a steam-powered assault walker called the Armadillo. 2:44 full simulation https://youtu.be/e52m8wTS56o 2 heavy cannons on the turret. 4 Gatling guns with overlapping areas of fire. Water and fuel (oil) are stored in the middle sec...

Record Simulation -- any way to get a smaller file size?
I have an animated assembly that goes through a series of movements (about 2 minutes 45 seconds long). I'm trying to record a video of it. My first thought was "I want it to look as nice as possible". So, 100% quality. 10-ish minutes later, it's done. Video is 4 GB, way more than I'd like....

Okay, I ran another update and it seems to be working alright except for an issue with the license. Thank you again for your help.

Re: Cannot open MSSQL$SQLTOPSOLID
Thank you for the reply. I followed the instructions and the PDM server appears to be working (according to TopSolid.Pdm.ServerServiceAdmin.exe) However when I launch the program I still have this error: con1.png I feel like I'm a step closer, maybe? Although I still don't understand why this is nec...

Re: Cannot open MSSQL$SQLTOPSOLID
I've made several attempts to get it working, including 3 complete uninstall/reinstalls, and it's still broken. Part of the problem is that uninstall doesn't seem to remove the whole MSSQL thing, and I've tried removing that manually and reinstalling a couple of times. At one point I got it to work,...

The server was not found or was not accessible. Verify that the instance name is correct and that SQL Ser...

Cannot open MSSQL$SQLTOPSOLID
Just started trying to use 7.12, got the perm codes sorted out, and now it's asking me for a password to connect to my local PDM server. connection.png I don't remember ever setting a password, or setting up a server, or anything. Clicking the green check mark gives me the error "Cannot open MS...
