Length of spline

Hi, Anybody knows how to drive the length of a spline in TS7? I have a spline with fix end points and I want to constrain the length of that spline to a given value. When using the dimension tool in a sketch, it will let me put a length dimension but as a driven dimension and not a driving dimension...

Re: How to link parameters to Excel, add codification on mitr

Hi Jonas, Thanks for posting your questions. Shall I suggest that you maybe separate your message in several posts so each of the question/topic can be answered separately? I am not familiar with TopSolid Wood yet but I'm sure someone can answer some of your concerns and I think you will have more c...

Hi, I remember toying around this a long time ago! It's been a while, but I think you have to use a way to differentiate the 2 <code> values. When I was using .cat files for my screws, I had to put a $ sign like this [<dollarsigncode>] (replace dollarsign by $) to tell TopSolid to read the reference...

I would simply extract it from the assembly (right click on the part, select extract).
Even if extracted from the assembly, it still show in the tool assembly.

Hi corne, In the French TopSolid forum I found a topic about mazak machines. There is this file available, not sure it's exactly your model but that might be interesting for you (they are talking about a Zamak VTC200B file modified into a Zamak VTC300C): link to download file : http://forum.TopSolid...

It works well also when the "drive line" is drawn on the side and connects with the 2 section curves.
That way we don't get the lines in the middle of the shape.

Hi Robert, That's a typical case of the swept shape function. There are 2 important conditions : - the curve section and the drive line need to intersect (there might be an other way but so far never worked otherwise for me) - the origin of the curve sections need to be set correctly Enclosed is a s...

Hi,

What do you call organic modeling? Can you post an example of a shape/product you've designed?
