Hi again,

there is a max rpm of 9999 defined in your machine template.
This value must be changed in the machine definition. I think it will be the best, if you contact your local reseller to do this.

It is the same for the Feedrate and the RPM of other tool units.

You have to enter the length of the cutting edge in that field. When you create a new tool in that dialog, you create only the tool, not the tool link, so you dont know the total length. You can add the total length, when you mount that tool on the machine. To do that, make a right-click on the tool...

You can use the following files:

Design - topext.men
Draft - dftext.men
WoodCAM - topzwoodext.men

I dont know the name of the cam file. Might be camext.men or topzcam.men.

Do you use TopSolid'Wood?
If you do so, there is a special "multi-draft for nesting panel" and "multi-draft for nesting labels" function.

Tool: create/manage TopSolid thumbnails easier

Hello, i dont like the features we have, to create pictures for our libraries of std-components. To make things easier for myself and to learn vb.net, i created a little tool to create/manage those pictures. I could need some feedback, if it works properly on other computers. Hello,
whats you interest? Do you want to buy one of those products?

Which version of SolidWorks are you talking about?
If you want wood features, you have to buy one of those API-based Add-Ons while you get wood features included in TopSolid from the main-developer.

Hi,

the solution is perfect, but we need those pictures saved on the hard disk.

We dont use bom inside of TopSolid, we use another tool for it and catch the data with the API.
For this tool, i need the pictures.

create a picture from all parts

Hello,

has someone a good idea/solution to create pictures/bitmaps from all parts of a furniture (in-place) for example?

The parts should be shown isolated from the others and from top or isometric view. Wireframe view is ok, it does not need to be shaded or textured.

One of my projects,
it should show a detailed design with edges/veneer and different joints.
I also added some kinematics for the lift.

[Solved] real path to the active document

Hello,

i need to get the path of my active document, to set some windows file attributes with api/vb.net.

When i use "ActiveDocument.Path", i do not get the "real" path, i get "STD=Lib3D...".

Is there a way, to get the real path from the file?
