See the problem is, the library part goes into the design file ok, and with no errors... the data stack empty error comes up when you try to propegate/copy.

I too have come from KeyCreator/Cadkey. I do like TopSolid, and realize that I'm not going to learn this totally different softare at the drop of a hat. Having said that however, there are days when I want to throw my monitor out the window. You really have to pay attention to your order of operatio...

Data stack empty?

What does this mean? I've created a number of library parts for all the deisgners at my shop to use. Several of them have had this problem: They're able to use "include standard" to import a library part. When they go to "management/copy of components", they get the data stack em...

Sorry I'm confused, if I delete the column, will that completly remove said feature from all my parts listed in that excel format? For instance, we have standard knock out extensions. They come in numerous lengths depending on the size clamp plate you're using. They also come in 1/2" tap, 5/8&q...

[Solved] Disapearing dimensions?

Earlier today I installed a patch that was released about a week or so ago. TopSolid_x64_Global_Patch_68240.exe I then restarted my computer and re-opened TopSolid only to discover that my dimensions are no longer showing up in my .top and .mld files (I haven't checked any of the others) The dimensi...

Creating parts library question

I'm currently trying to create some components. I've gotten as far as making up a component and creating an excel sheet for additional sizes. Currently I'm working on a travel strap. We have a number of standard sizes for these depending on the size of mold. Couple of questions, firstly I'd added my...

I want to unite both the b side and a side block together. I have a two cavity mold. I used multi-cavity "other propagation" as I needed a rotation of 180° and that wasn't an option with the multi-cavity propagation. I then united my two cavities together. After I created my mold base, I ...

Hey! Where did it go? (unite question)

I would like to unite my core block bottom (original block created after parting line) to my core mold base. The problem I'm experiencing is that any part above my block split line (z=0) disapears. I'm currently picking the core block bottom first, and then the mold base core block second. I've also...

[Solved] Multi-cavity issue

I want to create a two cavity mold using the multi-cavity function. The part is to be rotated, and not mirrored. There isn't a "rotate" function available in the propagation window, so I selected "other propagation". Here I was able to select "circular", with a total ro...
