Change the default index style?

Post by ken » Thu Mar 29, 2018 7:25 pm

Is there a way to change the default index balloon for an index with information? I can't find the option and even when I try to modify an index the box is grayed out as shown below...

Hi,

I don't have the answer but maybe you can type "Index Style" in the help function (F1)...?

I have the feeling it works a bit like view style.. But I'm really just guessing.

Greetings
B.

I have done it with the single index, that works.
The automatic?
What do you want to show in it?

I would like the index with information to display in either a box or a balloon. I have changed the individual index before but it has to be done right as the index is being created. It seems like there should be a setting where the default could be changed. It also seems strange that the index with information does not have an option to change it at all as far as I can see.
