Does anyone know how to get the information of a part on a draft without a bom list?
I want the designation or materials to show...
index info

Re: index info
Here is how I do it...
With the BOM in your draft, you use the index with information function. Select the BOM and then select "New Definition" and you can create your own custom index.
You still need a BOM in the draft but you can located it off the actual drawing sheet or on another sheet. With the BOM in your draft, you use the index with information function. Select the BOM and then select "New Definition" and you can create your own custom index.

Re: index info
Thanks for your reply Ken,
We know that method.
The problem is that some of our drawings are so heavy and we're using several Bom's that the draft gets very slow when placing an index with information.
I'm wondering if there is a way to use the tools like these...

Re: index info
Hello
You can make for materials/designation another BOM with minimal information to put that info to the drawing. One option is what I use when BOM is big: I put BOM to separate layer, then I will start Indexing and select BOM and after that I switch BOM layer off. Then drawing it's not so slow.
