Does anyone know if it is possible to enable layers in pdf export?

I know layer information is kept in dwg export, and I can then plot from the dwg to pdf with layer information, however the dwg exporter usually messes up the font and scale etc. (see my other post on the issues I have with dwg export).

Are there ways to adjust export settings via the API if there aren't any existing GUI for enabling this functionality?

I understand but today it isn't possible Pdf export, like a printting, keep the document diplay state...

I think you can perform it with API but keep in your mind that will check out the document...
