DELETING AN ACTIVE COORDINATE SYS

Unread post by Top'Noob »

Hello,

Currently if we try to delete the active coordinate system the error message says "No element to delete". This message is absurd and confusing.

I propose 2 possible solutions...

1. Allow us to delete the active Coordinate System (the system should switch to the "Absolute CS" upon deletion)

2. If #1 is unacceptable then at the very least change the message to something like "cannot delete ACTIVE CS"

Hi,

I am not sure this kind of behavior would be a good idea... :?

I mean that a lot of customers are not so high-skilled as you, and maybe they would not understand that delete the current coordinate system will also break all the associativity of the linked elements...

Of course the message is not so "correct", it is a common message. I figure that it would be difficult to get a message for each elements you want to manage, why the generic message.
