someone knows how to design new tools with new libraries and use them in the cam?
combine functions
there are not videos that relate to the tools ...
pdf guide is not very clear and not starting from scratch but imports have combined tools
I need to design and create new tools
I tried to follow the tutorial but this part from an existing library
I should start from a new library with new tools
I tried to create a new library and insert ourselves of the parties as tools
but I can not associate any function!
how to design and create a new tool, a new library
nobody knows how to do
there is a video that face see the creation of a new tool
in the example to create new libraries tools
I saw that there are necessary and reference libraries to create new
but how to create new libraries without reference
how to create new tools without reference libraries
thanks

Hi,
well the only reference you seem to need is the reference to TopSolid Machining. I created a new library. deleted all references except the TopSolid Machining.
Than i started just sketching the cutting geometry and a shank geometry. I made the shapes and I putted both shapes into then detailed representation and started the wizard for a cutting tool (Tools -> TopSolid'CAM Wizards -> Machining component Wizard)
Trough my reseller I got some video's about these wizards. Well you can do roughly the same for a tool holder.
Than you create the assy by using the assembly wizard.
For the components I made family documents, so I was able to make a library fast with some geneneric parts for different families (drills, mills etc.) and a table with parameters. If you go through the wizard a few times you lern fast which parameters you need for the family document.
Get a hold of the video's through your reseller, it will help you.
Last but not least. Creating your own library can be possible without having the option to select tools from thi library. So please check that before you put a lot of effort in it.
Regards Mark
