Hello everyone,
Now that I have a functional post processor I wanted to run some tests. I have a simple part programmed using the SUPER FINISH toolpath. I successfully created a program and ran it in the machine. Unfortunately the program is not producing G2 or G3 arc moves even though the part is round. I am getting many many tiny G1 linear moves. This is causing the machine to run very slowly because there are so many tiny lines of code in the program.
How can I make TopSolid 7 "filter" the toolpath and create a more efficient program using arcs instead of tiny linear segments?
Is there an option to set within TopSolid 7 or perhaps a change to be made in the post processor?

hi
Hi,
What kind of 2D or 3D programs?
- If 2D, should do, if it does not, have to change the PP
- If 3D is in principle only makes the approaches / retracts to make the whole toolpath you must activate "Nurbs Optimization", in V6 in 7 should be the same principle.
Best Regards
