Wire Text Font Library

Has anyone created their own Wire Text font?

So far I've copied the TopSolid font folder from the TopSolid Mechanical library into my own library then renamed the documents and edited the sketches to match Century Gothic as best I could. Updated the Family document with the Size driver and checked everything in.

My new font doesn't show up when I try to create text. The new library is referenced in the project.

The only difference that I can tell between my document and the TopSolid document is in the 2d Function document there is a parameter called "Universal Identifier" that is blank in mine where the TopSolid one has "$TopSolid.Kernel.DB......." .

Could this be causing my issue?

Not trying to argue but if you go to create a wire text on a part then hit F1 in the text box it will take you to Wire Text help. At the bottom of that page there is a section named "Font creation for wire text" with a link to "Creation of a font for wire text". The help page says it's possible, I just can't figure out how to make it show up in my drop down menu. I may have to start from scratch instead of copying and modifying the provided TopSolid wire text.

Whoo I did know that exists! thanks !

When you copy a component provided by TopSolid never copy the function. It must be unique (for standard functions).

So, in you font delete the function and give the TopSolid function.

It should be better
