Sketch / Grid: How to disable

Whenever I start a 2D or 3D sketch I have a grid!
I know that it is possible to "Modify Grid" (Type, Coordinates, spacing, etc).
Most of time I want "Type" = None.
I searched preferences and could not find it.
It is necessary to manually set to "none"?
