[Solved] Install on Window XP 64 bit.

Unread post by JWALSH »

I keep getting an error every time I click the icon.

C:\Missler\V69\bin\top69.exe
This application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Can any one help me fix this problem? I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times now. It even did this the first time we installed it on the new 64bit setup.

Hi,

Check in your installed programs, if you have installed the "Microsoft Visual 2005 C++ Redistributable". If you do, uninstall it and install the "Microsoft Visual 2005 C++ Redistributable x64" availlabe in the installation DVD.
It should be this file "DVD:\Visual\vcredist_x64.exe".
You should install also the dotnet x64.
It should be this file "DVD:\Dotnet\DotNetFx64.exe".

This should be enough.

Thank you, that worked. But now it only wants to open in demonstration mode.

Install the 7.5.0 sentinel driver.
Attention! Install ONLY the usb driver :o

Check if you have the right top.cod in your config folder

Actually, it would be better to say install only the part of the driver you need...

Some use the USB protection...

I use the Parallel driver.

Others may need the network licensing...

I just wanted to clarify this a bit... 8)
