Usage of user, group and project directories

Unread post by TNO »

Hello,

When I update TopSolid, the paths to user, group and project directory have to exist. Nevertheless they aren't used for anything.

To make myself clear:
I am responsible for updating 30+ floating license using computers.
Since TopSolid is updated roughly once a month, I made a batch file which uses psexec (http://www.microsoft.com/technet/sysint ... sexec.mspx) to log in remotely on target PC and updates the software under local administrator account.

The only problem is that local administrator on a target machine doesn't have the same drive letters and paths as a user, so TopSolid comes with an error when I try to update.

Is there a way that you can change this behaviour in a next patch?
Or is there another solution?

edit: Does anyone care?
