"Dog-Bone"

Unread post by jhw3 »

Does TopSolid Wood Cam have the ability to automatically insert "dog-bones" on an inside corner?
Maybe even manually?
Or is this something that needs to be done back in the sketch?
Please see attached PDF.

Thanks
John

If you model it in design it will automatically calibrate the shape you draw. but if you want to manually do this in cam you can draw a curve in cam and use that as the tool path instead of your model. I am assuming you are machine a 3-D part and not a 2-D curve. just remember that changes in cam do not go to design so best practice is design for cam.
